about the artist
| Jaye Frisina is a freelance illustrator based in upstate New York. Her artwork is done on high quality illustration board in ink, with the occasional color accents painted with acrylics. In 2008 she launched a ninja cartoon, entitled FIN, which brings together her art style and love of story telling. FIN has been featured twice on Thrillist Boston, Digital Apple Juice, and was on exhibit at Tremont 647 in March 2010. Most prints are available wholesale and for consignment shops. She has done many posters, tattoos, and a cd cover, as well as illustrations for several zines. Jaye's original artwork has been shown at Altered Aesthetics Gallery in Minneapolis, MN; 13 Forest Gallery in Arlington, MA; First Thursdays in Jamaica Plain, MA; The Boston Handmade Gallery in Boston, MA; and at OAK on Newbury Street in Boston, MA. |
