According to Chinese folklore, when a child is born they are connected by an invisible red thread to all who will care about them. As the child grows, the thread becomes shorter, drawing them ever closer to loved ones. This 9x12 inch image was drawn in ink, and prints of it are available here.

Ink spray and acrylic on bristol. Its a mythological creature similar to that found on a saxon shield in a British archealogical site. Original work is 7 x 5.

thirteenthstory zine issue two is now available!

What is going on? : Well, I've gotten a few emails asking just that question. I'm still here, and have been busy working on Issue Two if the zine. Its halfway done and a July publish date is expected. I am working on two tattoo comissions. Also, I have been getting ready for a few craft shows over the summer, which is more time consuming than I thought. So please stay tuned for the zine and perhaps a sneak preview of some of the art featured in it. Thanks.
